The last few months have been like a dream for 12-year old, Bajan surfer Andrew Rose. Affectionately nicknamed Shark Bait, this up-and-coming supergrom has managed to hook the attention of some big fish in the surfing industry including Arnette, Burkie Boards and his latest catch, California based clothing design company Volcom.

New Burkie Board shaped by Rich Price - JB Model

Got me a new "go to" board for them small mushy days. 4'7"-16 5/8"- 1 7/8" Burkie Board shaped by Rich Price. Working the same art design but thinking it may be time to change up for my next board. Sessions on this ride have been great, it rides like magic, real loose and got a gas pedal under the front foot :)

BJSC Mid Summer Hump

It is the summer hump and we have officially reached mid season. I got 2nd in the 12 & Under division and although I wanted to do better it sets me up for a year end run for the top spot. I also made the 14 & Under final and with a third place in the event move into 4th overall, so I am stoked and ready for the international summer events. Will be heading to the United States and the East Coast Surf Championships and the Rip Curl Grom Fest maybe others. For some fun will be in a skateboarding camp in Houston to blow off some steam while visiting family!!

It is now June and the waves have dropped in size but Soup Bowl offers up some good fun. Warm water sessions at Soup Bowl, Barbados, bajan surfer Andrew Rose (12 years old)
